Initial Setup

1. Install Batteries: Remove battery tag; insert 2 AA alkaline batteries.

Notes: Jumper Rc/Rh if single transformer (clip if separate). Specific diagrams for TAM7/TAM9, S9V2, SV92, GAF2-S, etc. Wire condensate switches between Y and Y1. X2 for aux during defrost.

Configuration Options

  1. Mount sub-base; connect wires per diagram.
  2. Power up; access Installer Menu (hold Menu 8s): Set outdoor (AC1/2/HP1/2), indoor (GA/EL/FAN), emergency (On/Off), O/B (O/B/3), fan %, cycle rates, lockout, limits, schedule type, early start, scale, adjustment, light, filter, auto changeover, lock.
  3. Test: Fan On/Auto, Heat/Cool calls, Aux.
  4. Set user schedule/time.
  5. Reset if needed (remove batteries 2 min).
