Operation Instructions

Initial Setup

1. Connect to Wi-Fi: From Home Screen > Menu > Settings > Network, turn Wireless to ON, select Connect to WiFi Network, choose network, enter password, and connect.
2. Register with Trane Home: Download Trane Home app from Google Play Store or App Store. Launch app, sign up or log in, select Connect New Device > System Controller. Generate Pin Code in app, then on thermostat: Home Screen > Menu > Smart Home Mobile App Registration, accept license, enter Pin Code, complete registration.
3. Set Date & Time: From Home Screen > Menu > Settings, manually set if not connected to Trane Home.
4. Enable Scheduling: From Home Screen > Menu > Schedules, press Enable Schedule.
5. Configure Thermostat Settings: From Home Screen > Menu > Thermostat, set Temperature Scale, Setpoint Deadband, Indoor Sensor Calibration (disabled if not enabled as sensor; contact dealer).

Home Screen Navigation

1. Display: Alerts/Notifications, Date/Time, System Mode, Fan Mode, Schedule Mode, Air Effects Mode, Cooling/Heating Set Point, Network Status, Desired Set Point, Current Indoor Temperature, Wireless Sensor Status, System Status, Emergency Heating, Schedule Status, Ventilation, Dehumidifying.
2. Access Menu: Press Menu/Back button for settings.

Scheduling and Presets

The thermostat supports programmable scheduling with up to 4 periods per day, customizable per day of the week. Periods must be at least 30 minutes.

2. Enable: Press Enable Schedule.
3. Changing Schedule: Select day, press period (e.g., Wake, Away) to activate; adjust start/end times, set points, rename; group days; save with Done.
