Troubleshooting

Installation Instructions

Warning: Only qualified personnel should install. Disconnect power before wiring. Improper installation can cause injury or equipment damage.

Pre-Installation Considerations

Wiring Diagrams

For 1H/1C Conventional (System Type Option 01):

TerminalConnection
R24V Power (Red)
WHeat (White)
YCool (Yellow)
GFan (Green)
CCommon (Blue, optional for battery backup)

Diagrams: Connect to furnace/AC terminals: R to R, W to W, Y to Y, G to G. No polarity.

Configuration Options

  1. Remove cover, press HOLD and UP simultaneously for 8 seconds to enter config mode.
  2. Set Option 01: 1H/1C Conventional.
  3. Adjust deadband (2-6°F), cycling rate.
  4. Exit by pressing HOLD.

Calculation Tool

Estimate cooling runtime based on temperature difference (ΔT) and cycling rate. Assumes standard 30-min cycle (2 cycles/hour); runtime = (ΔT / 20) * cycle time.
